Hilary Clinton once said it took a village to raise a child. Well it
takes a Nation to change a World. We can not do this by ourselves.
Their are so many needs out there that you could never even imagine. I
understand we have needs here as well and we will meet those needs also.
However, having been to 3rd world countries even the poorest of families are
rich compared to their poor. I have been poor, with no food to feed my
children. We have went hungry. Not for days and weeks. But
for at least 2 maybe 3 days. So I know at some level what it is to go
with out. I just want to give where there is need. I do not want
to see a hungry child if I can help it. |
